The Hearing Impaired Ministry is designed to function as part of The Potter’s House of Denver’s mission to continue in the strong history of diversity. We purpose to provide an alternate method of communication for the hearing impaired through the use of American Sign Language (ASL).
The hearing impaired are led into worship, kept engaged throughout the service, and are ministered to before and after service to gain a better understanding of the Word of God toward increasing their maturity in Christ.
Each of our interpreters is a trained volunteer, certified in ASL. Currently, ASL is provided on the first and third Sundays during the 11:00am worship service.
We are excited about what God has in store for this segment of the membership. As this ministry expands, our future vision includes support groups, training, Bible studies, fellowship events, and a signing choir.
